FKM NEWS – Family is the foundation to build and shape the future of a strong and great nation since a family produces health, intelligent, independent, and noble generations. 29 of June is said to be the National Family Day, or Hari Keluarga Nasional (HARGANAS). This year, the commemoration was held in Manado, North Sulawesi.
At that moment, Dr. Lutfi Agus Salim, S.KM., M.Si, a lecturer from Department of Biostatistics, Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Airlangga, achieved the award of Cipta Karya Kencana (CKK) from National Population and Family Planning Board, or Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional (BKKBN). The award was attained because Dr. Lutfi invented the practical application in counting fertility: SMART FERT VI.0.
Dr. Lutfi expressed his gratitude to BKKBN for the special invitation given to him in order to accept Tanda Penghargaan Tingkat Nasional in the category of Cipta Karya Kencana (CKK). “I also thank BKKBN East Java Regional Office, Universitas Airlangga, IPADI, KK, and all parties that have amazingly supported,” said Dr. Lutfi gratefully.
For his achievement, Dr. Lutfi was invited to the embedding award even, named “Temu Prestasi KKBPK”, held on Friday, 6 June 2018. The event was assembled in Bumi Beringin, the residence of the Governor of North Sulawesi.
“In the future, I hope that demography and population sciences can be more beneficial and help the low level administrative country subdivision in applying it easily in the fastest way,” hoped Dr. Lutfi.
